Never mind. Apparently there’s no way for anyone to do this. I always though that remote access to one’s computer was absolute and all I needed to do was be prompted to install the disc.
As I always tell folks, who get the “I cannot believe he asked that” - look: consider the source.
Thanks
Quasi
PS: Someone else asked that question (found it on google), but never received an answer. Now I know why!
it could be possible to do a remote upgrade from another installed os, but not from scratch.
Well, it COULD be possible to do it from scratch, but you’d probably need to write special bootable software with networking support and mail the CD to Quasi :P.
Edit: I wonder, theoretically if you were willing to jump through some hoops, could you install Windows starting from something like an Ubuntu live CD?
