War on Iraq: Will it go to plan?

How will you feel when you hear news of the first American or British soldier to be killed in action? How about Iraqi civilians? Is the worth of an Iraqi civilian’s life less than that of a soldier’s life?

I do support the war, but I also know that war comes with a price. The cost will come in the form of deaths on both sides. Do you think the general public opinion of the war, and support for GW, could change radically if things don’t go according to plan?

Most people seem to think that it will be a crushing victory for the allied forces, but I’m not so sure. Saddam Hussein lived through the last Gulf war. He has had enough time to prepare for this one. I’m think he may have a few suprises for us… what do you think?

He only lived through the last Gulf War because nobody really cared that much–he didn’t have an American administration basing its political credibility both at home and abroad on forcing him out of office.
