Hold the phone! Didn’t they recover Edgar Allen Poe’s notebook and pen when they arrested McNuttso? The notebook and pen that makes whatever you write become true? What’s to stop them from just jotting down something like, “Artie’s alive, MacPherson’s been hit by a truck and is now brain dead, and the Cubs have won the World Series, oh and our building didn’t blow up, either”?
Maybe not exactly like that, but they’ll use something in the warehouse to kind of reset the whole situation, I’d almost bet money on it. With the access tunnel blown to hell, Pete, Myka, and I think Leena (she didn’t leave before Macpherson did, did she?) are trapped inside, it kind of limits their options.
