Warning: possible uncontrollable laughter ahead

Like you, I only found it mildly amusing in my head. My sides, on the other hand, are aching from laughing so hard. I was literally thinking, “What the hell, this isn’t really that funny…” and then noticing that I was laughing out loud hysterically. Again and again this happened.

Contagious laughter, indeed!

I had the same kind of reaction. I think watching someone truly and completely lose it just sets us off. For instance, I will laugh till I almost cry at Richard Dawson’s difficulties in this clip.

Precisely. I was laughing so hard my roommate came down to see what was so funny - he watched and barely cracked a smile.
My best friend laughs like a chittering chipmunk - that’s the only way I can describe it. Oddly enough, her daughter laughs exactly the same. The Kid and my sister have the same infectuous laughs - even "whoo hoo"ing at the same time. I love it when all four of them get going - it’s a symphony.

Yeah, it’s pretty much a good thing that guy’s laugh was so ridiculously funny, because that act would have been for shit without it.

I thought it was hysterically funny, but I sobered up long before the people in the audience or the comedian did (maybe because I wasn’t in the room?)–but then the comedian did play it well. It isn’t all that funny, in my head (like WhyNot said), but the whole laugh/response/more laughter just gets me laughing. The Bohemian Rhapsody bit was not as funny.

He does have an infectious laugh. I once knew a girl who laughed like machine gun fire: hahahahahahahahahahah. Everyone wanted go get Abby laughing, then we’d all join in.

That was hilarious! I laughed, I cried, I nearly passed out.

I watched the clips with a headphone while my wife is watching TV. I laughed at the clips in the OP, but this one just had me in tears. My wife is wondering what the hell is wrong with me.
