I am not talking mildly amusing. I’m talking so funny they set you off into fits of laughter.
I’ve been using Youtube to get myself through night shifts at work. I’m running out of things to keep me going so I thought of asking the teeming millions many of whom probably have a better knowledge of youtube than me (I have only recently started using it because of doing night shifts at work)
My fave so far, I can’t find it now. Is one of Ashley Jenson from extras (ricky gervais) failing to give a line. She’s meant to give a line to a boy in a bed in a hospital. She eventually ‘learns’ the mistake and can’t avoid it. Gervais observes that she’s starting to sound like one of the teachers from peanuts. It’s knowing that and then hearing her try the line that has me in stiches.
Since “very funny” varies by individual, all I can claim about this clip is that I got it yesterday in email and got a nice chuckle from it. I can’t swear it will affect others that way.
I can’t search youtube at work, but do a search for “Fuck you, Baltimore!” and you’ll come across one that had me in stitches. Also search for “What’s it gonna be?” and another one that still makes me laugh.
Two very different kinds of humor…The first is a comedy sketch that you’ll appreciate if you can’t stand people who talk baby-talk to their pets and everyone else:
The next one is called “Deadwood pancakes” (swearing with great articulation about breakfast!) and is NSFW:
If you like theater, check out Avenue Jew, a blend of AVENUE Q and FIDDLER starring the recent B’way casts of both. It was for a benefit and it’s hysterical; it’ll link to some other AVENUE Q posts if you’ve never watched them and they’re all winners.
I got linked to this one through a “WTF” community: Charlie the Unicorn. It’s really freakin’ bizarre, but it made me laugh. Be prepared for annoyingness.
