Yeah, I assumed you (Darren Garrison, not Czarcasm) were suggesting LHoD was a jerk, or more charitably, admitting that you had been a jerk. I didn’t get your intended reference just from the picture.
I’m not sure if you really don’t get how jokes will be interpreted or if it’s performance art.

My view on a joke or reference is if 1,000 people read it, 999 don’t get it and one person chimes in noticing that it is a reference to a plot point in season 2 of the 1983 animated series The Littles, then that is my person and the reference is a smashing success.

How is he going to know who that particular person is, without using the rest of us as null test cases? Isn’t that what we’re here for? What harm does it do (rhetorical question, in case anyone wasn’t clear)?
Isn’t this the umpteenth time someone has posted something offensive while subsequently trying to wriggle out of the moderation in question by saying “Oh, it’s just a line from a movie/tv show!”? I guess I have trouble understanding how that automatically gives them a free pass.
To defend @Darren_Garrison, he didn’t start this thread and he has now been put into a position to defend himself in it. This seems pretty dumb to me. He got a warning and he didn’t complain about it.

As I see it, the person who got the warning isn’t the one who started the thread. They aren’t asking the mods here in ATMB to remove it, they aren’t apologizing for it, so, perhaps, we are done? I know we love to commit physical cruelty to deceased equines, but I don’t think there’s anything left to do here.
That only seems fair, why drag this out? It is what it is.
