The Vans Warped Tour visits the Omaha area next Tuesday and I guess it hasn’t sold out yet because there are comercials on quiet a bit. On the comercials both radio and tv they go through the top bands playing and then they play a song by the band. Bad Religion, No Use For a Name, Reel Big Fish, etc. Except NOFX, they always say NOFX right after Bad Religion (1st and 2nd) but they dont play a NOFX song. Anybody have any ideas why this is?
My guesses are: NOFX doesn’t like being played on the radio or any publicity really and this just goes along with that, they said not to play any NOFX songs in the advertising. Or because you almost never hear NOFX on the radio, if you are not a fan, you wont know any songs so there is no point to play a song no one knows.
Any ideas?
