So, when’s his announcement that he’s running for Congress?
Greg Abel has been his designated successor since May 2021. So the name isn’t surprising.
The retirement? Maybe surprising, but certainly not shocking.
I mean, he’s 94. If he hasn’t retired already, why now?
I guess maybe he’s self-aware enough to know he’s declining. But i gotta say, when my husband interrupted my online game to say something about Warren Buffett, i assumed the guy had died.

Berkshire HQ, located in Omaha Nebraska, has 27 employees. The 1.16 trillion dollar firm has a $348 billion cash hoard, which I expect to be deployed within the next year.
He would have gone years earlier, but his wife died. That left him without a retirement plan.
