I’ll start with the standard “please don’t turn this into a debate” message.
Was there anyone who attempted to challenge George Bush for the Republican nomination in 2004?

Candidates in the 2004 New Hampshire primary. You have to pick out the Republicans since that is the list for both parties.
Interesting stuff, Smack. I note the last two candidates on the page seem to be filing to run for vice-president. Any idea what’s up with that?
Thanks, an excellent link.
I don’t know what Flora Bleckner’s plans are, but “Red” Jahncke is running for Vice President in opposition to the war in Iraq. He’s asking people to vote for him, along with the Presidential candidate of their chocie, to note their opposition to the war.
According to the figures on his website he did surprisingly well, coming in second in the New Hampshire primary with 5,752 votes. Cheney won, of course, with 11,315.
