I was poking around the pantry and found a plastic bottle of “green” ketchup! This was made by Heinz, as a tie-in with the “GRINCH WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS” movie from 2 years ago. Apparently, my daughter bought it-I opened it and tried it…it tastes just like regular ketchup, except it is a vile green color.
Is this product off the market?
Man, this is PROOF that American technology is the best! Think of the products we’ve come up with! 
Last I saw, it was still going strong in the grocery isle. Little kids LOVE it (as does my 32 year old brother and his 33 year old wife, but I digress). I wanna say they came out with blue and orange as well. Maybe purple, but I’m not sure on that one.
Yeah, they had blue … haven’t seen it in a while.
The sight of that green stuff affects my taste buds negatively. I’m sure it’s all in my head, but still.
Similar is the electric kelly-green relish I got on a Red-Hot hot dog in Chicago a few years ago. I ate it, but the relish color was very distracting.
