That might depend on where you’re from. Remember the opening lines of It’s a Long Way to Tipperary:

Checking my copy of “The Complete Monty Python’s Flying Circus: All The Words”, the original lyrics were “I wish I’d been a girlie/ Just like my dear mama”. I think it was in Live at the Hollywood Bowl where I first remember it being changed to “papa”, which is a hell of a lot funnier.
