Martin was on his cell phone with his girlfriend and mentioned that someone was following him and he felt nervous about it. According to Zimmerman he had been trying to follow Martin on foot and lost track of him. He was then returning to his truck when Martin accosted him.
The girlfriend said she could hear Martin asking “why are you following me” and Zimmerman responding"What are you doing here?" The call then ended after some muffled sounds. Zimmerman claims he told Martin “I am not looking for trouble”(The wrong thing to say) and that Martin then said “Well you found it” then punched him in the nose, knocking him to the ground.
Well turns out that picture was real on drudge.

Meanwhile video footage of Zimmerman at the police station has been released. There doesn’t appear to be blood on his head or his face. I can believe he was punched in the face and was able to wash some blood off his nose, but it doesn’t look like he bled much from a broken nose and it doesn’t look like his head was repeatedly slammed into concrete.
So wait? which is it, being 8.9% of the population or a fan of a particular type of music that makes you the eligible to be chased down in the dark and shot?
