Was Sarah Palin ever interviewed on NPR?

This is driving me nuts. At least a few months before John McCain announced his running mate, NPR featured an interview with a woman who, it was suggested, was in the running for consideration as the Vice Presidential pick.

I remember that interview, and my immediate impressions of the person they interviewed, but I don’t remember what her name was. As soon as they announced Sarah Palin for VP I thought, ‘‘I wonder if it was that lady…’’

I have scoured the NPR website and have found no evidence of this. I am wondering if anyone remembers the interview or has any suggestions as to who it may have been?
