I didn’t realize she was that old (63). I read she died suddenly but I see no cause. And even though she was older than I thought she was, that’s still kind of young to die for no reason.
Sorry, my post above got cut off. I meant to add that “sudden” and “unexpected” deaths, along with “after a brief illness” all used to be polite circumlocutions for suicide. (A “long illness” was invariably cancer.) Variety’s language is odd but often precise in its own way.
Didn’t intend to jack the thread but my partial post sent things sideways. I mean their special use of language as in she was in a series “now lensing” somewhere.

If you choose to see it that way. Variety uses a lot of old-school journalism styles; in that everyone seems surprised she “died suddenly” I was pointing out this could be the case, given who’s reporting it.

I don’t remember much of her stuff after that but her IMDB page shows that she’s been steadily working. Great character actress, I agree that 62 is much too soon.
