Wasabi Funyuns

I don’t like regular Funyuns all that much. But I like these.

Have you tried them?

I f-ing love them. They appear to be test marketing them right no. I only see them in abut 1 out of 4 grocery stores.

I bought a snack-sized bag a month or two ago. Didn’t care for it, but they were better than the wasabi-flabored potato chips I bought a couple weeks ago, which is about 95% full, and still will be when I get around to throwing it away. :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow!
A snack food and an emetic in one!!

I don’t suppose they’ll ever sell them in the East. We seem to miss out on all the interesting snackfood flavors.

This is the first I had heard of them. They sound great. If I run across them I’ll have to give them a try.

Also look for Wasabees. They are wasabi flavred Ritz crackers… and actually pretty spicy. The Wasabi Funyuns have the flavor but not much of the tongue scraping.

I’m drooling. I can’t wait to find these in my local supermarket.

I tried some the other day. Yummy!

I don’t eat snack foods too often, but I had to try them. They were pretty awesome.

Oooh, I’ll have to look for these.

For more wasabi goodness try the Smokehouse Almonds Wasabi and Soy flavor. I almost ate a whole can at one sitting.* You can also justify it because almonds are good for you.
*I think I left about 10 almonds in the can so I didn’t eat a whole can full.

Are they hot? I can dig the flavor of wasabi but it really needs that extra oomph or, as the Jellybean Prince said, shmaltz.

They’re fairly hot. Not as hot as hot Cheetos, or habanero Doritos. But I wouldn’t want to have to eat some without a drink in hand.

Oooh! I just love electricity up my nose! Especially like those large cans of Williamsburg Wasabi Peanuts. They kind of make me want to bark.
