ETA: Looks like nap time has started again. That was only a half hour between feedings, though - the baby must need to eat pretty frequently at this stage.

The baby just got fed. Momma stepped aside and the little one was facing the camera. Spielberg couldn’t have staged a better shot. If it’s archived somewhere, it’s at about 7:09 Central Time.

Sigh… over already.
Just saw changing of the guard and a feeding. Only one baby got fed, the other just kind of sat there wobbling.
Even “wobbling” is giving it way too much credit.

It really has been fascinating. Every board and half my friends on FB are watching that nest.
One baby seems to get fed a lot more than the other. All the times I’ve seen them feeding, it’s like a 5 to 1 ratio of which baby gets food. Fuzzy Wobbles is getting the short end of the stick.
Btw I’m not impressed with hummingbird mom. She leaves a lot and leaves the babies unattended. What is their nest made of, btw? Carpet? I saw someone’s hand in there earlier and there appears to be a plastic zip tie holding the thing together as well…
That 2nd baby isn’t very good at receiving food yet. It keeps falling over.
One of the babies is way off to the side of the nest and seems to be trying in vain to get back under its parent. It’s not working out so well so far. The parent seems to be trying various positions to cover both and seems to be picking apart the nest for some reason.
Ooh he/she just managed to pull the little guy under him/her! Now I can go to the grocery store without being all worried. Heh.

Well I’m back from my camping trip. I see a lot has happened- Eaglet #2 has hatched, feeding has commenced, eaglet #1 almost went overboard. I’m bummed that I missed another hatching- I hope I catch #3!
What are they feeding the babies? Do they give them raw meat right off the bat- or should I say, right off the rabbit? Or are they regurgitating?
It looked to me like it was right off the rabbit.
There they go! Yep, raw meat it is! And they’re both getting some bits.
I know sometimes only one chick really gets fed
