Nava, in addition to the Quick Launch taskbar icon mentioned, and the [Windows key] + D shortcut mentioned, you can also use [Windows key] + M (think “minimize”). Shift + [Windows key] + M will bring everything back up.

Thanks!
Quick check shows it’s actually episode 1, approx 7:55-9:50
Not strictly related, but LOL funny nonetheless, I found this clip linked from yours: This, Jen, is the Internet.
Something we can all relate to:
mmm
For extra oomph watch someone on a laptop do it. Apparently the constant game of Hand Twister can amuse some.
As some people have mentioned, I also type addresses that I know into Google (obviously leaving out www. and .com). Couple of reasons.
It’s easier. When Firefox opens up, it is on Google and my cursor is in the search box. It’s easiest to type in cnn and then Tab Tab Enter. Instantly I have CNN. Otherwise I have to use my mouse to go up to the address bar, click on www.google.com and then type in www.cnn.com (I started this habit before web browsers were so forgiving that you could leave out the www and .com) , then hit enter.
Spelling. Yea, CNN isn’t too hard, but I type fast and sometimes misspell what I want. If you type CCNN into Google and hit tab tab enter, you get CNN. If you type that in the address bar, you get Career College of Northern Nevada. Big difference. Obviously certain addresses are harder than cnn and are more prone to screw ups.
I really think the object of ridicule here is people who go to Google and search for www.somewebsiteorother.com because the simple fact of the matter is, that’s ridiculous.
