Water Taste

Water from my kitchen sink has an odder and tastes funny. It is the only faucet in the house that has this problem. All pipes in house are copper. The hot water from this same faucet tastes fine.

How can only one faucet have a problem and only on the cold water?

How can only one faucet have a problem and only on the cold water?

The hot and cold water come in separate pipes. The cold water pipe going to that particular faucet could be lined with some kind of crud.
