Way Obscure Star Wars Original Trilogy Question

Oops, I see Legomancer answered that one, as well. Ah, well, I guess I should read everyone’s entire post before I reply.

But at least I didn’t need to reference anything to know who they were… here’s the next trivia question: What are the names of their respective ships?

Why was that OP guy banned?

I didn’t need the ref materials, they were posted as visual aids for others

As for the ships, you’ll have me there, as my area of expertise is just the movies and the figures. I don’t know much (and, honestly, don’t care much) about the games or books.

The ones I know offhand, other than Fett’s “Slave I” are Bossk’s “Hound’s Tooth” and IG-88’s IG-2000.

I’d say a Great Debate that became a personal attack against SPOOFE was the main reason. link

Oh, hell, Jeff, I completely forgot about that thread.

Looking back, it all seems so… amusing… somehow.

Weren’t there any "Gort"s in those movies?

If you were a REAL sci-fi geek, you wouldn’t have to ask.

And if you were a real Sci-Fi geek, your brain would automatically insert a Jerry Springer-esque “bleep” noise over every utterance of the word “midichlorian”.

Dear Spam, I feel dirty just typing it. I think I need to go shower again…

Since someone mentioned Boffans, i gotta ask. Did they ever bother showing what the heck a Boffan looked like, or are we to assume they all died bringing the Rebels the information?

It’s “Bothans”, and I’ve seen two different ways in which they were presented. One is the canine-esque look, with a lengthened snout, and the, and the other looks much more “human” with a bit of a funky mane (go here and click on the name “Borsk Fey’lya”… it’s from the game Rebellion).

Personally, I say we accept the former version, since we usually ignore stuff that’s put into video games. Bulwark Battlecruisers? What the fig?

I wouldn’t even have known about it if not for someone else asking about the banning of Bingo. Seems I like reading threads which have bearing on the banning of someone, sort of like watching a traffic accident in slo-mo.

Damn you! Now I’ll never get the phrase “Stir, whip, stir, whip, whip, whip, stir, beat!” out of my head!

But just think – due to the no-contradictions rule of the extended Star Wars universe, The Star Wars Holiday Special must be considered canon! (Mua ha ha ha ha!)

Fortunately, it doesn’t provide any relevant information, so its easy to ignore. Again, just like the Midichlorian thing… ::shudder::

… except that it does establish that there is a Mrs. Chewbacca.

…and that Chewie’s dad is named “Itchy”. However, being that Chewbacca’s name was shortened to Chewie, it can be assumed that the full name of the character is “Itchbacca”.

Well, the “Mrs. Chewbacca” wasn’t a horrible thing… not in concept, anyway (in practice… well… you get the idea). I think the novel series The Black Fleet Crisis dealt with the concept of Chewie’s family quite well.

This just in, that action figure is actually of Lars Ulrich. Whodathunk?

Didn’t Chewbacca’s mate also make an appearance in Kevin J. Anderson’s Jedi Academy trilogy?
