OK a 3 year old used, slightly hail damaged minivan… But it’s new to us!! And it’s red and has working air conditioning and working speedometer/odometer and power everything and it’s RED!
We traded in a 1998 Brown minivan, that was very, very sad and well used. Droopy headliner, no gauges or odometer, no a/c. The veritable velveteen rabbit of minivans. We bought in new, thinking we would use it to ferry children who never came. Fifteen years later, it’s just carried DeHusband and me and my wheelchair. So sad that filling it us with gas increased the value by nearly 25%. The used car guy felt sorry for us and gave us a $400 trade-in.
And it’s already mostly paid for! We drove 150 miles from home here in Montgomery to save $5500. Totally worth driving 3 hours in 80+ degree heat. I’m just so happy! (Not a big deal for some, but a really huge deal for us.)
