No, I have a Florida problem.
Yep, in some parts of the country, it’s hot enough that it’s still above 90 at 10-11 pm, and only gets to 83 as the low temp, with a rise in humidity in the early morning.
There’s no “once it gets to 72” for a big chunk of the year.
I live where no matter how hot it gets during the day we always have very cool nights… usually in the low 50s or high 40s even in July and August, so I just open up the windows at 9 pm and it’s always 65 degrees in the house when I wake up in the morning. During the day I keep the house at about 72 degrees either by closing the blinds and windows or using some AC late in the afternoon. So at night while I sleep the temperature drops gradually from 72 down to 65 degrees. I love living in the Rocky Mountains.

Anyone who’s never been to that region of the country doesn’t know from heat and humidity. I thought Chicago was humid until I visited Charlston SC.

Anyone else using this thread to plan out (or fantasize) where they’d like to live?
You people, with your “oh, I just open the windows at night when it’s nice & cool, why would I pay for A/C tee-hee” arrrgh!
