It’s been so hard. Even though my Aunt was 85, it’s still not easy to have her go.
Shae was so young but so sick. We knew she wouldn’t get all better but were still hoping for a miracle giving us a few more years with us. We did get the miracle… 9 more days with her, 2 of them good days for her. And she waited until Mommy and Daddy got home from Aunt Jewell’s service so she wasn’t alone when she went.
I’m still having trouble waking up. I just hate it. It’s been well over 20 years since I’ve woken up without one or more of my feline children sleeping with me. Duffy and Pearl don’t sleep with me, and Rico has gone to work so I wake up alone.
Although I haven’t been able to say anything to anyone on the board for a few days now, I’ve been reading your posts and they have helped.
