Damn, but I am feeling sick. My employer is a paedophile… wonderful . He’s in jail but meantime we are having to cope with all the fallout. I don’t suppose it’s a good idea for me to be posting this, and I will definitely not be adding any traceable personal details.
I was a Charter Member before btw, but I let the membership lapse through a combination of silliness and being away at the renewal time. I don’t want to post my old name as it would make me traceable from my other posts… although quite why this worries me I am not sure. I think it’s part of an innate desire for anonymity and part fear of some sort of unforeseen calamitous consequences.
We’re trying to save the business on behalf of the employees, but it’s looking less and less likely that we will be able to. What is wrong with these sick perverts? Why do they feel it is acceptable to unleash this kind of nightmare on all these people just because of their own sick fantasies? The man has a family as well as a load of people who relied on him for a living.
You cannot imagine all the soul-searching that’s been going on here… should we all have left immediately we found out? (some did). Are we helping to somehow assist the sick ?@^%$? Are we doing the right thing by trying to save the business for the sake of the employees? What will the reaction of the clients be? And the suppliers?
And the differences in reactions from people… wow… everything from “He wasn’t hurting anyone” (yes, it’s true, someone said that) to “I’ll kill him” (probably not meant literally but certainly said with conviction).
Bah. I’ll leave you decide if it’s mundane, but it’s certainly a pointless thread I guess. Still, the way I am feeling, any crumb of comfort you may be able to provide wouldn’t go amiss.
