I wanted a seperate thread for this. When me moved back to houston a year and a half ago, our car dies.
We kept trying to save up for one but everytime we would get a little money saved we would have to spend it !
My Aunt told me that God, (not GaWd) had put it on her heart to give us a car she had. A 85 Ford Tauras.
Well she kept running into problems getting the car paper together, she had to file for a lost title and all kinds of things.
She mentioned this to my cousin . Then my cousin called the LIONsob a couple of days ago and told him to wait here for her.
She showed up and ** gave ** us a 1996 Chevy Cavoler, with a years paid insurance on it, a full tank of gas and a title already transfered over !
When we thanked her, she said to thank God, that he had led her to give it to us, She has a new car.
If you don’t believe in miracles, fine. But this only serves to convince me they do happen, and that God is real.
Let’s not turn this into a debate please, I’m still too drugged to argue.
Wow, Aye, that’s great. Cavaliers aren’t bad cars either. For a Chevy and everything.
Congrats you two, you deserve this! You definitely have an angel watching over you!
There is not a human being who deserves it more. Congrats!
Remember: white fuzzy dice = cool. Pink fuzzy dice = tacky.
Congrats to you both.
I think it’s great you have a family that cares about you.
Now, ask your Aunt if she has $52,000 hanging around the house she isn’t using…I’ll be in touch!!
Cool. Very cool.
Now how much is hubby allowed to spend on chrome wheels, oversized tires, lift kit, and a performance package.
Congrats. It’s wonderful having family and friends that can help in time of need.
But they go so well with my mullet.
Ayesha, does this mean that when you’re fully recuperated we’ll finally be able to get our torrid affair started? You can tell LionSOB you’re driving in to shop at Neiman’s, and when you come back without having spent thousands of dollars he’ll be so relieved he won’t worry about how long you were gone.
wink
Seriously, does this mean you guys might finally come up for a Dallas dopefest?
Way to go, Lioness! God is good.
I’m also glad to see you’re on the mend enough to post!
Out of the hospital and a free car. You’re on a roll now woman. \0/ \0/
:: Do not turn into debate. Do not turn into debate. ::
Congrats. Now you have no excuse. You can’t miss the next HouDope!

Congrats! Its about time something good came along for you.
Many, many congrats, Ayesha and LIONsob! God is so awesome !
And, you’re feeling at least a little better, to be posting some. Glad to see you’re on the mend.
Im reading the thread title and thinking Ayesha found a place to trade kidney stones for autos. It sounded like a good deal.
Seriously, Congrats! My dad once bought 3 cars for $50 total, and used two to fix the 3rd and drove it for 5 years. best deal I knew of 'til now.

Well, Auntie’s a pretty special gal, I would imagine.
This rocks! Y’all are gonna be there for whatever we do next!
What about black fuzzy dice?
I wish I had an aunt as crazy as yours. (it’s a joke! don’t hurt me!)
