I hate reading stuff like this. When I saw the thread, I was desperately hoping the “friend” wouldn’t be a name that I recognized. Not that it would’ve been any better had I not known the name, just less-- I don’t know-- personal.
I didn’t know poopah personally, but I’m really saddened by this.
Scotticher, you and his family are in my prayers tonight.
That is terrible and so sudden. Though I didn’t know him, my heart goes out to all those his life touched.
I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of someone clearly loved by many.
I am so saddened by this news. I echo what cazzle said although I never interacted with him he sounds like he was a wonderful human being. That bridge is right down the street from my house and I pray I will be reminded to pray for his family each time I go by.

I don’t know how I managed to miss this and poopah’s Thankful thread until just now.
I’m so sorry. His name alone always made me smile… I don’t know what to say.
Reading this thread brought tears to my eyes. I went back and read the “Thanksgiving thread” and tears fell down my cheek. I can only send my prayers to PC’s family and to everyone who has posted. If a thread has moved a lurker this deeply, I don’t want to imagine what the regulars feel.

Scotticher I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. It is never easy to lose someone - no matter how well, or little, you knew them.
He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with those who grieve, Scotticher and Scott’s family. I ddn’t know him beyond seeing his posts here and there, but as many have already said, just seeing his username was enough to bring a smile, and that will be Scott’s lasting legacy.
My sympathies to his family and friends. They will be in my thoughts tonight.
