As some of you know, Cardsfan and I have had to put down two of our cats recently. Well over the past weekend we have added two kittens to our family. The two of them have pretty much taken over the household, much to the dismay of our two older cats. Lexie is 12 weeks old and Loki is 5 months old.
Very nice kitties!
And do I remember right that you are the newest member of the Brat Pack? If so, congratulations… um, yeah, congratulations!
Wow, Lexie looks a lot like my new kitty Harry. So needless to say she’s adorable. Loki is sweet looking, too. Kittens are so much fun.
Congrats on your new additions!

Thanks! I um… think?
Thanks!
They are both cuddle bugs which is just what we needed around the house. The two adult cats seemed to have slumped into a depressed state with the loss of Chauncey and Anubis.
Oh! and that fuzzy blanket thingy looks perfect for cats. Are you able to pry them off it occasionally?
Cute kitties!
We have a 7-month-old kitten who was 5 months when we got him, and is named Loki as well. Beware, though, because I have noticed that cats named Loki tend to live up to their names! Mine is certainly a troublemaker.
Ah the Woolly Mammoth! Yes, the cats adore that thing. I bought it while I was in Argentina a few years ago. It would not fit in any of my bags so I had to hand carry it through security in 3 different airports. That damn thing weighs a ton after you lug it around for 20 minutes.
Too late. He is already living up to his name and it’s all Cardsfan’s fault since he named that one!
Oh my! Lexie looks just like my new foster kitty, Tate .
I brought Tate home last night to be my grief counselor (I very recently lost a my last kitty as well).
OH! What a handsome kittie! Cats are wonderful companions for sure. I had Chauncey for 22 years before we had to put him down back in March of this year. So I understand how you feel.
I hope you and your new kitty have lots of happy playtime together.
Is Lexi a Maine Coon? She looks like one.
Yes, she is! Her register name is: Prairesong Alexandra
Ooh, cute kitties.
But may I suggest turning off the on-camera flash or enabling the red-eye reduction feature next time? It should eliminate the evil-looking gleam in their eyes, which is the feline equivalent of red eye. Unless you want it that way, of course.
But they are evil kitties!
Actually we just got this new camera and I haven’t figure out all the doodads on it. I am, digital camera challenged. When I figure it out, I will post non-evil kitty pictures!
