We still want a a little kitty around here and will see what the local animal welfare league has for adoption toward the end of the year. Maybe we can adopt someone’s Christmas present that didn’t work out.
Also, other cat is missing his little buddy.
I am so sorry. FIP really sucks. You gave him a good life and a kind death. There are so many kittens who don’t get that. Bless you for wanting to give another shelter cat a chance.
All four of the animals we have now are the result of some sort of rescue. No reason to not take in another one.
This place seems kinda empty without the little furball chasing the big, lazy furball in circles. Likely we’ll have another rescue in here by Thanksgiving.
I’ve known some people to be afraid of rescue animals after something like that happens. Not everyone is as understanding and compassionate as you.
