Well since doing what I do puts me firmly in the computer geek camp I must disagree. Girls are for fucking within an inch of their sanity and building monster quad core computers for, even if they only use them for MySpace.

I think leaving the phone behind for the squad geek was the best part - he returned later begging for the chip. The prosecution has to be a slam dunk.
I agree that the guy was a jerk, but I really like Best Buy. Everyone always trashes them and I love them…they never harass me for a service fee, have excellent prices on DVDs, and they’re all really nice over there. Plus I always thought the Geek Squad was cool.
That was a really asshole thing to do on the guy’s part of course.
Unfortunately your experience is the exeption. In addition, from my angle, they engage in some very shady practices WRT their computer repair work. Things like claiming a warranty replacement of a hard drive does not include reloading windows (incurring another $89 dollar charge), want your pictures, thats another $69 for recovering files. Pretty soon, they spent another 30 min on your machine and racked up what I would have charged to replace the drive, reload windows, and retrieve their files with no warranty involved.
As someone who performs repair services in people’s homes and is often left alone in a home or left with a changer full of coins and bills, I ask that you let me join your class action [del]iron maiden[/del] suit.
Then would this be considered false advertising?
From the first story linked to, I learn that there is a criminal charge of “annoying or molesting a child under 18.” :eek: If I can be charged for annoying a child under 18… 
What does that actually mean? Either “annoying” or “molesting” must be being used in a special sense here. I hope!

Wait, I’m confused. Why was he charged with the whole “annoying a minor” thing? He videotaped the 22-year-old sister (who you can see in drachillix’s second link) showering, not the 13-year-old, right?
And on a side note, how stupid do you have to be to set your cell phone on somebody’s bathroom counter to record them showering, AND record yourself doing it?! And then try to bargain your way out of trouble by offering a discount on computer services?

It’s funny how this type of activity used to pass as comedy in films like Revenge of the Nerds or Porkys and they played it off as college guys just messing around doing what college guys do. They never alluded to the “you get caught your going to jail” part.
