Hey bub, don’t include me in your delusion. I was a working schmuck right up to the end.
Oh great. There’s a Canadian version. And it says that Boomers in Canada were later, from 1946 to 1966.
I can’t escape.
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
I couldn’t agree more.
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, Boomers. ![]()
Seven little, six little, five little boomers…
Funniest thing I’ve seen on these boards in a long time.
I love the NOT DEAD YET counter. Only ~76 million to go!
Makes me wonder: Just who is going to be the literal last baby boomer? What poor soul is going to be put on a mantle as the last of a most hated group of people with similar birthdates, to be ridiculed and hovered over as his or her last seconds on Earth tick away?
Delusion? I think not. What generation have the last three Presidents been from? What group comprises the largest part of Congress? Who runs the banks and other financial organizations in the country? You guessed it. It’s not us 30-40 somethings, that’s for sure.
If you don’t wish to be included in the contempt, it would probably help if you a) didn’t taunt us like you did in the OP, and b) didn’t say “we” when discussing it. You put yourself in that group, so you get everything that comes with it.
Man, you take shit way too seriously. Lighten the fuck up.
No, he doesn’t.
Hey, nice generation. Be a shame if something…happened…to it.
10,000 per day for 19 years is almost 70 million.
This site says the US population increased from 141.4 million in 1946 to 194.3 million in 1965 - a net increase of around 53 million.
Of these, some are no longer with us. Googling suggests that around 27% of the population doesn’t make it to age 65, which means that of those 53 million, around 39 million will reach retirement age.
So, who makes up the 31 million difference? Immigrants (and should they count as baby boomers)?
I find when I’m 64 far more significant than when I’m 65.
