The following is a link to a newspaper article about a church in my town of Topeka Kansas.

As described the youth are “planting” crosses for each coalition soldier slain in the current Iraq conflict. I’ve passed this corner many times, and at first didn’t know what was going on, except the patch of white crosses kept getting larger. I think it’s good that all the coalition soldiers are being remembered, those from the UK, Denmark, Poland, Israel, and other countries.
And some people say that kids today are all apathetic, don’t care about world affairs, and so on. To use a mundane phrase, I think what they are doing is pretty cool.
