Based on what I saw during that first half, this is easily the most talented team that Oregon has put on the field ever, IMO. The sheer talent may obviate the perceived coaching disparity, and at this point that certainly seems to be the case.

IF we do anything with the Bowls and the CFP it will be a new thing. I have yet to hear any suggestions on how to deal with the Post-Season games. Last year’s activity seemed to be focused on the BCS Bowls and little else. I’m waiting until I suspect there’s enough interest to go through the motions.

Okay, well then congrats to zoog on the season win! I was coming back after a disastrous Week 13, but just ran out of time. Darn it.
If I were you I would run 4 threads,
1st 15 or so,
2nd 15 or so,
Traditional New Years Day Bowls (incl. playoff games) and hangers-on,
National Champ game
Everything using the scoring system we’ve used all season (since there’s not an easy way to do the bracket, don’t increase points for the NC game).
Of course all games are matchups, so you have to pick a loser (or winner - either way works for me) for every game or you lose a pt (or if you pick both). I would say to include an abbreviated bowl name in the team selection and pair them up so you’re not constantly searching through the list.
Alternatively, just run the Top25 poll for all the Bowl Games EXCEPT the Nat’l Championship (but if so, we should include that in the standings).

Good ideas, Zakalwe, and maybe the way to go. I’ll hold off a little while just in case there are other tweaks others may want to see this year.
One way or the other I’ll shoot for Dec/18 as a deadline to put up a Pre-Christmas poll for the games to be played between 12/20 and 12/24. That’ll be 10 games, according to 2023 Bowl Schedule | College Football Poll.com
I’ll probably set up a Bowl Pick Em game at Yahoo later this week, otherwise, I’m in for whatever you decide to do here.
