Huh. Maybe it’s some sort of code?
Firstly, thanks. This didn’t help me towards the answer, but rather reinforced the fact that I actually knew what I was doing. After I was sure I was on the right track I was able to take a closer look at what I was typing in. Stupid me… I had the last part of the URL but was missing the correct path right before that - if you know what I mean.
Thanks. Now to keep on making myself even more insane!
I’m wiping my hands of these riddles. I made it to 38 and if I don’t try to figure it out, I can’t fail at it.
The clue for 37 was really stupid. You should be able to figure out a riddle by looking at it, not by knowing the riddle’s creator. Buncha crap.
I’ll be happy to help anyone out that hasn’t gotten to 38 yet, but I’ve wasted too much time trying to figure these out…I gotta get some work done.
Quite a lot of steps in that one, eh?
I just started level 38.
I dunno…I hear after level 41 they start to get reallllllllllllllllly good or realllllllllllllllllllllllly terrible (based on how tricky and hard they are), depending on who I’ve asked. Most of my friends over AIM have told me they were the former…but with a lot of “fake” like levels before the real levels.
There’s only about 59 out so far. You’re more than halfway there!
After level 42, you go into “fake” levels 43-48 before you get to the “real” level 43. Many of the fake levels are really easy, but I had one stump me for a shamefully long time, due to the exact problem that Stinky Burrito mentioned above.
Onto real level 45 now, I don’t think I could give up now.
I might just sit down and cry. But it made my afternoon go faster!
Sorry, I don’t think I explained myself well. I’m still on 36 and I still can’t figure out how to download or listen to the file… even though when I entered the address in the address bar, I got a viable page. Is there a clickable link? :smack:
It depends on your system. On mine, it’s all automatic, FOR THOSE TYPES OF FILES. It’s not clickable, it’s downloadable. Can you put it in a spoiler, what type of file you think it is, and how you usually listen to those files?
Anyone here up to 52? It’s stumping me right now; i must not be seeing the forest for the trees, or vice versa.
I’m with you…level 52…staring blankly…and hoping that knowledge about the character isn’t necessary for the solution.
Sigh.
Nevermind, I’m an idiot. :smack: I figured it out and got it to work. My setup would usually be automatic for that type of file, but for whatever reason I had to do it myself and the first time it didn’t work, so I thought I was overlooking some key, tricky, Weffriddlean factor. Thanks for your help! Now to figure out the significance of what I heard…
and that part was super easy, making the amount of time I spent on this puzzle all the more :smack:
Open notepad and type in:
<a href=http://www.weffriddles.com/whatever_you_think_the_link_is> right click me! </a>
save the file on your desktop as “weff.html” (make sure for “save as type” you have “all files” selected)
open weff.html and right click on the “right click me!” link, and choose “save link as…” or the closest equivilent in your browser.
52:
Something is wrong with that picture. Check the source closely.
Kairos…i got it. If you want some help, let me know, i can spoiler a hint. Now…ouch, 54
Help! I cannot get level 27. I’ve tried everything. Can someone spoiler the answer? Pretty please?
If only because I want some good karma after the migraine that was 28 …
Intermediate:
Try that thing with varying the jpg names. You’ll end up with three different games.
Easy:
Look at the games. Xs and Os in different positions. The positions are what’s important. And the order the games “should” have been played in.
Remedial ;):
The tic, tac, and toe games kinda spell “FLY.”
And I know I just did all that coding work for nothing, because I’d totally have just clicked all the spoilers before even trying again.
OMG, 54!!! Talk about complicated!
Can someone give me a hint for 47? I feel like my eyes are bleeding. Sorry if someone has already given a hint for this one, I couldn’t find it.
