I have never noticed these links before on the front page. Would someone be nice enough to briefly share with me what exactly the Weird Al site is, and what the threadspotting link is (as of right now it’s about defunk fast food places, but it looks recent so I imagine that there are times that it links to other threads).

Threadspotting changes three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). It’s just what it says, it features something from the board . . . something smart or witty or profound or funny or strange. Or all of the above.
Weird Earl also changes three times a week (also Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). People send us links to unusual websites: Unusually funny, unusually interesting . . .unusually unusual. Sometimes the subject matter is mature – the current Weird Earl touts the benefits of various kinds of body powders on the scrotum – I should have marked this as being possibly NSFW.
