Weird Earl's

Take a look at this one:

http://www.toiletmuseum.com

This fellow has put a lot of effort in collecting toilet pictures from all over. Very funny yet cool in an odd way…

This is more…creepy than weird. But…

What is wrong with this guy?!

Dunno if this one’s been suggested or not, but it’s a hoot. And the links are classy, too.

In a nutshell, Belgium does not exist.

It’s a hoax.

Fun to browse around for a while:

I suspect these aren’t really what’s being looked for, but they’re all fun:

Anything at http://www.rinkworks.com
http://www.timmybighands.com
http://www.satirewire.com - the new Onion, as far as I’m concerned. This page of theirs has been making the email rounds lately. Great stuff.

Also, this is a good waste of time, though not particularly weird.

How about The First Church of Jesus Christ, Elvis.

This site compiles “weird earls” and, if you scroll down the list, you’ll be amazed and inspired to see that The Straight Dope is on the list as a weird link… perhaps we should take that as an insult???

This site will link you to such pages as:
Bad Meteorology (if you think raindrops look like teardrops, you can get a job at the Weather Channel–but you’re wrong)!
Bad Astronomy (find out the truth about all your favorite scifi films)!
Bad Chemistry (“Theory of Ice skating is all wet!” “Ionic solutions don’t look like that!”)!
And of course, Bad Physics (including an essential look at electricity misconceptions)!

Don’t miss it! Plus you get to use exclamation points!

At last, someone who understands what I go through.

I did not read all the responses, so I apologize if I’m repeating an already suggested URL. I really haven’t checked it out much, but freakylinks seems like a pretty cool site. I’ll just check and report back.

This one is a classic, and probably high-brow enough for the Chicago Reader

The closer you read the scarier it becomes when you realize its pulled from real stories. The E-business Onion.

Okay, here’s the scoop. I checked it out (a little) and it’s all about the paranormal. Ghosts, witches, aliens. But it also deals with conspiracy theories, the undead, and stories of people in a desperate attempt to make you a “believer”. It has a section called the discussion board which, as it appears to me, is overrun by young kids or extremely illiterate people. Check it out and see for yourself, but I probably won’t go back there.
