Weird Food Combos?

I’m fascinated with other people’s weird food combos. You know, the things that will typically cause other human beings to look at you in horror, perhaps while squealing or fake gagging in disgust… I believe that every person has some secret food perversion; whether they just don’t know it’s weird, or if they are keeping it hidden for fear of ridicule. I’m of the former persuasion, and truly didn’t think mine were weird. My boyfriend, on the other hand, took 3 months into our relationship before “coming out” about his penchant for peanut butter and miracle whip on crackers.

Here are three that I love, to get started:

Jell-O chocolate pudding sandwich (a poor man’s nutella, maybe?)
Jell-O chocolate pudding with Red Hots or Cinnamon Imperials mixed in
Toasted peanut butter, honey, and bacon sandwiches
White bread or dinner rolls dipped in sweet iced tea

There are more, but I want to hear yours!

Moving thread from IMHO to Cafe Society.

We’re flying to New Orleans tonight and I just saw a top-tier restaurant advertise on its lunch menu a peanut butter and jelly duck sandwich (yes, you read that right).

Now I want to go just to see what the heck that’ll be like…

I don’t know if it fits your criteria, but I love to eat brownies or chocolate chip cookies with lemonade. Everyone else can’t understand how I can combine the two tastes.

I see your Weird Food Combos and raise you a:

I’ve posted this before, but I just loooooove…

2 packages chicken flavor ramen, cooked, drained, then seasoned
1 can tuna
1 generous spoon peanut butter - chunky, of course
1 handful shredded cheese
1 handful of cracker crumbs or other binding agent (Crushed corn flakes, whatever)

Mix while hot until it looks pleasing.

It’s awesome, I assure you. You got your salt, your peanut, your salt, your starch, your salt…

My kid likes sausage links with maple syrup on the side as a dipping sauce.

Somehow that does not surprise me, as her dad likes peanut butter and cheese sandwiches.

How many threads like this do we need?
