Weird IMDB thing

A few months ago I submitted some info to the Internet Movie Database for the television short “The Price of Life” which originally appeared on PBS’ American Playhouse. I haven’t heard from them since and the title and all references to it (credits for the performers, hell, even the director doesn’t get credit) have been removed. Any idea why?

I’m still waiting for them to update the Firesign Theater Presents Hot Shorts movie to include my review, i submitted that about a week ago. They must be having some sort of problem.

Same thing happened to me. I submitted a goof for “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” and it never showed up, and it’s been several months now. For the record, it concerned them getting pulled over by a Wisconsin State Trooper in Illinois.

I submitted a goof for “O Brother” which concerned the fact that the boy claimed to have nicked a census taker even though the last census in the area was 7 years ago. It never appeared.

I also submitted the same goof to movie mistakes. It never appeared. And more wierdly I submitted a goof about “Return of the Jedi” as well. It never appeared.

My conclusion? They only review and add a small percentage of the e-mails they receive. Most they just junk when they get behind.

I could be wrong but …
