We all know that there are plenty of weird laws out there that make people wonder what possessed the lawmakers in the first place. My question is not about that, my question is what is the strangest law that you have heard of being used?

I ask this as my brother has just been convicted of “Disturbing a fish in a public place”. I believe the law could be used for any animal, it was just my brother was trying to steal a fish from a public park. (drunk thing at 3 am and a police car nearby). This is the silliest law I have heard of being used. This was in New South Wales (Ozland)

Good heavens! That’s pretty funny. When was this law enacted?

I know that the eastern states (U.S.) have some goofy laws still on the books but I’m drawing a complete blank right now. The closest I can get is my brother being taken to jail for “Being Drunk In Public” in a small town at 2 a.m.
