Normally, if I send an email from the desktop outlook app, it goes into my sent mail folder on the app, and is also visible when I look in the sent mail on the web app/phone app. On Saturday, I sent one email from the desktop, and I just realized that it doesn’t show up on the web/phone app, though it is in the Sent mail folder on the desktop. Did it really get sent? Everything I’ve sent since then (from the desktop or the phone) is where it should be (Note: POP configuration). Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I don’t use Outlook anymore but I have two ideas if you haven’t already tried:
- If your web app has a sync button/control, try syncing then see if the mising sent email appears in the sent folder; or
- If the app has an “all mail folder” or something similar, check to see if it’s in there.
I occasionally have the same problem with web-based gmail and the Thunderbird desktop client that I use. For reasons unknown, occasionally an email sent from the web-based program only shows up in the all mail folder on my desktop.
Thank you. I’ve decided it was a brief glitch with the one address I was having the issue with, and just re-sent the email (with apologies on the off chance it turns out to be a duplicate)
