I accept your admission of utter confusion as well.
It’s a sine qua non of watching commercials. Do you froth in confusion when you see talking dogs, frogs and singing plants? Do you not buy that there’s a forty foot man made out of peas and lettuce in the Land of the Jolly (Ho Ho Ho!) Green Giant? Do you puzzle over why in the world children would deliberately and maliciously withhold cereal from a little white bunny?
It definitely was in the one with the basement apartment as well, but I don’t think it was in either of the first two ones (the bike and the catering gig). Here’s a link to the first five (not including the Ren Faire one)
I had never heard this first hand, but after seeing it show up in other commercials, after the restaurant, I kinda figured it would be an Easter Egg type thing.
I love Easter eggs.
I don’t know how much of an Easter egg it is, or just a thematic consistency between commercials. You’ll notice they reuse the same old lady in pretty much all of the commercials as well. I imagine there’s more, if you choose to pursue it. And if you do, the advertising execs have done their job well.
Earworm time.
I really, really, really want to punch that kid.
And this kid:
Steven…
Yes, there are many kids that must be punched. Or gigged, squa’ in the nootes.
Yawn.

Just a moment.
**When the villagers awoke in the morning, they eagerly gathered outside to see if USCDiver’s ghost would appear and if there were any more deaths. As soon as they reached the street, they found a streak of blood that lead outside town.
As soon as the townspeople left town, they followed the blood trail to a cave. Inside the cave, they saw a few things. One, the saw a deep fissure in the ground, as if it had been recently cracked open by some kind of explosion or eruption. The cave was also filled with thousands of pentagrams and other demonic, devilish symbols, which were carved both into the rock and written in the dirt. The aired reeked of sulfur….which was rather odd.
“What could have happened here?” said one townsperson.
Crushed in the crack of the fissure was a body. It was quite clearly Nanook’s body, nearly severed in half between the fissure walls. There was a lot of blood. Also, there was a note lying by his body. It read:
Too slow, sucker!
After heading back to the town center, the conversation grew.
“What could it mean?”
“What kind of….ritual was that?”
Suddenly, Nanook’s ghost appeared before them, looking angelic.
“I was taken in the Night, my fellow villagers. Me, Nanook, your helpful doctor. Good luck without me.”
Nanook, who was an old-fashioned doctor*, is 100% dead. He was Town.
Just as Nanook disappeared, USCDiver’s ghost appeared as well. He looked angry and sad at the same time.
“You should have known better, town! I know I was odd and suspicious, but you should have tried harder! Use your heads! Avenge me, town!” he said
USCDiver, who was a townsperson Suspicious Guy**, is 100% dead. He was Town.
It is now Day Five. Day Five will end on Friday, September 4th at Noon Eastern.
*He was a doctor, but with a fail-rate due to it being “olden” times.
** A Miller kind of character, but obviously not a Death Miller.

So… That means Cucuy got a ‘correct’ reading, so we still don’t know what happens when he get’s a bad reading.
Hmmm, that is a shame.
Looking back over Mahaloth’s posts, and the words he emphasises, we have
*Open… the gateway to suffering (post 486)
*nothing the Night no NK occured
*50% (947)
- DOOM (i couldn’t find this post)
*Too slow, sucker!
I can make nothing of all that
Well this sucks. I tracked JoeyP last Night, but got inconclusive results. I didn’t know that inconclusive was a possibility, but apperantly my inventions don’t always work all that well. And my tracking device is now broken, so that sucks.
I wonder why diver didn’t claim miller before he died?
Diver didn’t know he was a Miller. But he really should have done more then just give up and the first sign. Did he show us his PM?
Sorry I broke your machine.
I’m not sure what ‘inconclusive’ means, but I just sat at home and hid under the covers all night.
NETA
Not sure what I meant by ‘give up at the first sign’ I meant that as soon as someone called him scum, he never put up a fight.
My machine is a radar tracker. So at first it showed that you left your house, then is flickered and showed that you did nothing. Then I was told that I think the machine malfunctioned and now it doesn’t work.
I might be able to shed some light on the confusion, although I am a bit confused why Joey doesn’t know what happened. I slept with Joey again last night.
