Weird Wild West Mafia/Werewolf/Psychopath

By the way, Joey, I can’t change my vote, at this point. It’s just up to you to convince NAF that cucuy lied.

What I am saying is that at this juncture in the game the ONLY way for you to be lynched is to vote for yourself. Since I don’t see that happening and I’m not planning to vote myself, Boozy is the only option left.

Whom do you think is scum?

As I’ve been saying for Days, NAF, but NAF is more or less unlynchable at this point, short of him voting himself, and since I’m not planning to vote myself either, you’re the only one left.
It’s all up to NAF at this point.

Would anyone object if we just end this the next time Mahaloth comes back in to check on this, then? I don’t really foresee Joey doing a good job of convincing NAF that he’s scum, and I can’t change my vote, so Joey’s vote doesn’t matter so much.

As far as I see it, for the three players left alive, Joey has definitely lost.** NAF** has definitely won, and I’m the only one in suspense here.

  1. I may choose to end this Day early tomorrow(Friday). It’s late here and I don’t want to end this Day now.

2.** Do not assume the game is over or reveal any spoileresque information before I say so. Doing so will result in modkilling, even late in the game like this.**

  1. This game is ongoing. Votes may be placed and changed and modkills can happen.** Do not, do not, do not, say or do anything against the rules or in bad game spirit, even if you think the game is over. This game is not over unless I say so. The Day may end and the game may continue, but do NOT assume anything until I say so.**

Cool. I am good with my choices in the game. If Boozy is scum then I am an idiot. I still say it makes less sense for him to be scum than for Joey. Boozy, if you are scum then my hat is off to you.

See you all in the morning.

**NAF, Boozahol, and JoeyP looked at one another, none knowing who to trust or who could be a villain.

NAF placed blame on JoeyP, while Joey placed all the blame on NAF. Boozy didn’t know what to do, but strongly felt that NAF was a Crimson Thorn. Still, no one was sure.

NAF, feeling nervous, pulled Boozahol aside and offered him a drink. Boozahol, in a moment of weakness, accepted and drank the drink. He went back, planning on blaming NAF and calling out his name, uniting him with JoeyP and killing off what both believed to be the final Crimson Thorn.

Joey was there, smiling. Boozy walked up and said, “I think NAF is…….,” but he began to stumble around for a moment. Then he paused and said, “JoeyP is the final Crimson Thorn. I’m sure of it.”

“Me too,” said NAF, with a grin.

The approached JoeyP and cut his throat.

Joey’s ghost immediately appeared.

“Why me? Why did you ever kill someone as innocent as me? Boozy! NAF is the final Crimson Thorn! It’s him! It’s him!” cried out JoeyP.

There was an awkward silence.

JoeyP’s ghost smiled and said, “ Nah, it was me all along guys. We really thought we had you pathetic holy townies right where we wanted you, but alas, you have defeated us. We go into the Night defeated, but perhaps not gone forever.”

And he disappeared.

JoeyP, the Crimson Thorn Godfather, is dead.

Boozahaol and NAF looked at each other.

“What now?” said NAF.

“I dunno. We’ve cleared the town of evil, but now it’s just us,” replied Boozahol.

Boozahol and NAF shrugged, and both left together to found a new town.

Congratulations town! You have risen up to defeat the Crimson Thorns! Not many of you survived, but survival wasn’t the goal!

Town wins!

**Points of interest:

  1. Thanks everyone for a fun game. I thought the scum team had it until the final Night, when Joey chose to kill Oredigger instead of NAF. Bad luck, Joey!

  2. The scum team in this game had a couple fun things:

  • They were the ones who were able to write the note that was sent to town every morning.

  • They also were required to plan a method of death. My favorite was the barrel of “DOOM”.

  1. I tried to get a final message for every player’s ghost to deliver in the morning. I adapted a few of them, but tried to include what they said more or less. This is where some of the odd statements from ghosts came from.

  2. There was a very active and engaging spoiled discussion in this game, running 19 pages in length over on the scum/spoiler board site. You are free to visit it and I’ll remove the password later.

  3. Pedescribe and I will have a game running pretty soon here on the Dope. If you dislike my game for some reason, realize Ped planned the next one 99% alone and it’s probably way better than either game I’ve run here(Lost and Wild West). We need quite a few people for it, so sign up when you see it here.**

The spoiler board is below, but you have to register and I’ll approve you.

Woohoo - go Town.

I told you NAF1138. :stuck_out_tongue:

Augh, Joey, why didn’t you leave Oredigger alive? If you had no-killed, everyone would have assumed that Oredigger’s block on NAF would have been the reason why. They would have lynched NAF, and we’d have won the game that Night.

Augh.

Don’t worry storyteller, you can’t win them all

That gives the rest of us a chance at least.

Yes, this is what I was figuring would occur, though perhaps it was easier to see from outside the game. I wouldn’t be too hard on Joey.

Actually, Digger didn’t block anyone last night, so the no-kill strategy would have left Joey looking pretty scummy anyway.

Go town, yay town!

Congratulations town.

Thanks for running the game Malahoth, I think it was balanced and your colour posts were always entertaining. Spoiler board request sent.

Once again, apologies to everyone for letting Meeko fatigue get the better of me. I shouldn’t have asked for him to be replaced, we should have lynched him day 1 for anti-town play.

I think I did fairly well for the short time I was in the game. I had townie reads on SpecialEd, Tom Scud, Boozahol and NAF. My initial suspects were Oredigger and JoeyP (but not both together), Pedescribe, CatInASuit, and AllWalker. I also thought there was a good chance of finding scum in the pool of less active players, so I wasn’t suprised when MentalGuy flipped.

My day 1 edit was deliberate, I knew I wouldn’t get lynched for it and I thought there was a good chance it would attract scummy attention.

I didn’t make the connection between my ambiguous role PM and a possible miller role.

I was thinking it might indicate the presence of a third party player.

I’m in two minds about whether to sign up for another game. I enjoy trying to work out who the scum are, but it’s a big time investment. I also feel I let the other players down by letting irritation get the better of me and dropping out.

After reading the Scum boards, I got the impression that a no-kill was not allowed. Am I wrong?

Sorry if I should have posted that in the Forbidden thread.

Boozahol, was there any chance you would have voted for Joey if NAF didn’t force it? You would have had until 4 PM or so today.

That was fun Maha.

CIAS, sorry about that.

Approve me for spoilers please!
