I don’t understand this shit either. I came here when the board was free. I signed up under one name. I posted a few times and then stopped.
I came back later and the board had gone pay. Shit. I didn’t like it, but I ponied up. I got a new name. Nobody cared. I still post to this day. this morning I wonder why.

Exactly. He wasn’t “banned”. Only the new user name was banned. He can still sign in under his old name. Had he actually been banned, he wouldn’t be able to sign in under any name at all.
Well, I’ll probably be banned as well, as I’m in the same boat as the guy described in the OP. So I might as well get this question in while I still can. I don’t remember my old password, and I don’t have the same email address as I did then. I would love to use my old name, but right now I don’t have any way to sign on under it.
