Welcome the GeoBill Babies!

GeoBill’s insurance has granted her an extra day to recover so they will all go home tomorrow. This isn’t due to any problems, just extra recovery time because of Geo’s surgery. All are well and happily getting to know each other.

I’ll be hitting the road next weekend so that I can get acquainted with my new nephews (and help my sister). I can’t wait!!!

Yay for babies!

I’m a little disappointed they didn’t name them ‘Cecil’ and ‘Adam,’ but I guess they had to go with what worked for them.
Just kidding. I love the names.
I’m glad GeoMom will be getting an extra day in the hospital to recover. C-sections can be tough.
Auntie Anita, please remind her to just take it easy, not to lift anything heavier than one of the babies, and that she’ll feel a little bit better each day. Let Auntie and Dad do all the work!

Thanks for all the congratulations and well wishes, everyone. We’re glad to be home, but of course tired and feeling a little overwhelmed at having all of this responsibility. The boys are still working on getting the hang of this breastfeeding thing, but that’s a subject for another thread.

About the names: Liam is the Irish form of William, so he’s named after his daddy, and Douglas is Bill’s Scottish clan. James is named after my brother and a few other relatives, and Gunn is my clan. All family names, no Whedon influence whatsoever.

Pics later when we have a minute to breathe.

Have they got their wee kilts yet?

How did I miss this?? A million congrats and hugs to the exhausted yet proud parents and lovely kidlings.

If they make Straight Dope mugs, can Straight Dope plastic nursing bottles be far behind ???

Funny you should bump this now, 'toons; I was just thinking yesterday I ought to post some pics!

The guys are well and getting fat, and keeping us very, very busy. They’re cute as the dickens, if I say so myself. I’m madly in love.

Awwwwww! Congrats again! They’re adorable!

Aww! They’re so cute!

I love these two pictures. Cuteness overload!

YAY for babies and their pictures!

-Sniffle- you guys do nice work.

I do, of course, hope that Unca Cecil himself strolls by to welcome the newbabies, as has become common practice around these parts.

Aww, thanks.

Seeing as how Ole Cece is indirectly responsible for the little fellers existing in the first place, I hope he does stop by!

I had to bump this to finally answer this question…

Yes.

Liam gets the Douglas tartan, and James the Gunn

Archergal squeals in delight at the extreme cuteness of the GeoBill twins!

What a great-looking pair o’ boys!

Please, please tell me they’re wearing diapers under those things!

Too freakin’ cute!!

major cuteness alert. nice colours in the gunn plaid.

Babies in kilts!!! I think you’ve raised the cuteness bar several notches.

Congrats!

Oh, yes–they’re not going full regimental until they’re potty trained.
