Welcome back my best buddy. You’ve been missed.
**aha ** , I’m so glad to see you again ! I am sorry to hear of your trouble, and thrilled at the news that the cancer has been overcome !
Of course you know that we do expect to see you around more often. This place hasn’t been the same without you.
Good to see ya back!
(Just don’t threaten any more puppies… k?)
Glad to see you back aha
Way to go on the health and professional front
I like starting my day with good news and this definitely fits that category.
Cock-a-hula-f***ing-HOOPS! It’s aha!
I thought of you twice last week, funnily enough. The first time was when my SO was listening to some kind of compilation album that had Western Union on it. I said “That’s the Five Americans, isn’t it? One of them posts on the SDMB, so I sort of know him”. The second time was when I thought I’d shit my pants. Turned out it was just a fart with abandonment issues. You know, the kind that you can feel hanging about right next to the arse instead of dispersing.
Enormous congratulations and WOOHOO on beating the cancer.
Hey, aha - I missed you too. Glad to hear that you’re doing ok after getting the big C.
Make up some excuse to come down to Dallas soon, and we’ll have a mondo Dopefest!
{{aha}} - take care, sweetie!
Yay and yay (you can decide which goes where; you know better’n me)!
So now when I see Vanilla Sky I can say “My friend Mike plays that song”. Cool:cool:
congrats on kickin cancer’s butt aha. Somehow I missed out on “Western Union” being yours. Course I happen to like the song and now got an even better reason to sing along at the top of my voice when I hear it. Partner’s gonna be so happy for that! Welcome back!
Congratulations on both counts. I have had to deal with the fear that a relative of a cancer patient has and can only imagine how absolutely shit-dropping frightening it must be to hear the test results when they pertain to you. I hope the fear of the first test results were matched only by the releif when hearing the final results. Glad you’re back.
Of course, most of the girls are wondering if your tongue still “works” ;) say no more!
Spritle, who is getting ready to call “Oldies 100” and make a request in your honor.
That’s the way to kick ass, pal! Glad to hear from you!
Welcome back, aha, and congratulations on being cancer-free.
You have my condolences on your song being associated with Tom Cruise, even if they did pay ya.
Hey ladies my tongue is working just fine ( thanks to radiation only as opposed to surgery) and bless you all for caring.
But Let’s speak for a moment about something more serious.
I just wanted to say that I was disappointed in my last thread a year ago when many many of you denied or just ingnored the fact that you had at one time or the other shit your pants.
Maybe we can revive that thread and you guys could be more “forthcoming” so to speak. I know it would make a better person out of most of you if you only admitted it.
Or maybe not.
buttons buttons so many buttons
aha! We’ve missed you! I’m so glad you’re well!
I haven’t seen Vanilla Sky, because I figured it’d be a horrible movie, but I may just have to see it, since they played your song.
AHA! Congrats on the good news! It is great to see you back and hear that you are doing well. I may go see Vanilla Sky now. That is awesome that they used your song. I hope this is just the beginning of things to come.
Aha! It’s aha! And he’s back! I’m so sorry to learn of your bout with cancer, but so happy for you that you’ve beaten it! Welcome back and congratulations on your good Union Station news!
Woo hoo aha… Glad to hear you are kicking cancer’s ass AND making money off of hollywood :D. On such a momentus occasion I feel compelled to use my sig, hoohah
Keith
Wow. I’m so glad you’re OK, aha.
Great news about beating the beast! I had an idiot doctor jump the gun and use the “C” word in a diagnosis about 18 years back - scared the puddin’ outta me. Thankfully, he was wrong on so many levels! But I remember how I felt so I can imagine what you went thru. Very glad it all worked out!
<tossing confetti with wild and reckless abandon>
Whoops…the boards ate my sig.
welcome home!! we missed you.
i’m glad to hear that you beat cancer.
wow on the royalties. that’s the icing on the cake.
