I guess I’ll tell the story, though it’s not very exciting.
We were out car shopping in the bitter cold all day and decided to stop on the way home at a clearance sale at a local jewlers. Turns out I had the dates wrong, so we were a day early. We looked at bands and saw some that we really liked. Decided to come back for the sale the next day.
As we were driving home I asked him if he wanted to get those rings. He looked at me and said “did we just get engaged?”…
We laughed on the way home.
Came back the next day, found two bands and an alexandrite/silver ring. We weren’t planning on getting a ring with a stone, but that one was perfect and $110 off. The bands are black titanium. Those are specially made (as they can’t be sized) and will arrive in a month or so. My stone ring will be here in a week.
