My boyfriend proposed yesterday morning. I have to admit, it wasn’t a complete surprise. (Having picked out the ring myself

I’m so lucky, he is such a nice guy. We’re in love, and make each other laugh. The only thing that could make our relationship more perfect is if it wasn’t long distance! (Still a year and a half to go.)

Umm, how exactly did he spring this on you? Did he take you to a jewelry shop and say “Uhh, this is NOT for you. But seriously, which one do you like best?”
When we were on the phone he asked me my ring size. I asked him ‘which finger?’ and he said all of them. So I had an idea of what he was planning. Later, he admitted what he was up to, so I picked out the ring myself.
