Well it's been two years now...

…and we’re still together.
Two years ago today, my and my BF decided we wanted to be each other’s. Yep, we made it two years. Woohooo! Now, two years is important, because many people (Well everybody) didn’t think we’d last two months, let alone two years.
But we did, and I still love him so much that it hurts sometimes.
This is definitey mundane and pointless, but I’m excited. And I’m looking forward to many many many more years with him.

Happy Anniversary, pepperlandgirl!

The first 2 years are the hardest.
I’m on 25 now, and it was all downhill from there.

Congrats PLG
It gets better after 2 years? Why didn’t anybody tell me that?

yay PLG! So when you gonna introduce us to “plg’s bf,” huh? When do we get to start corrupting him?

Congrats, Peppie. I’m glad to see that someone found who they feel they belong to. It’s a long hard road, but the journey is worth it.

Congrats, Pepper. I’m always happy to see long-term relationships in action.

I wouldn’t call that “mundane and pointless”! I would sing the “Happy happy joy joy” song for you, but I’m afraid that would be downright offensive.

Congratulations, pepperlandgirl!

I echo dropzone’s sentiment- it’s really something to see two people happy together who can STAY happy together.

Yeeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhh!!!

Great news - hurrah for Haley and Jim!!!

I’m terribly sorry I was late to this - but the sentiment is no less valid dear.

I’m so happy and excited that you’ve gone so far with a great guy like Jim, and that he’s gone so far with a sweey young woman like yourself.

I sincerely hope that the two of you will have all sorts of interesting adventures that life will take you on together.

I hope you have nothing but happiness in life.

I hope the next school year doesn’t wear you down too much.

I hope you become a great lawyer, and work in the field you like so much.

I hope you have children someday, that are strong, smart, healthy, self confident, and of course finely cultured by your example.

In short, I hope the best for you.

Your friend,
Una

When’s the wedding?

Thank you everybody for your kind sentiments!

Iam-He does lurk on the board quite often, and is even registered, but he rarely posts. I don’t want to reveal his identity though, for various reasons.

Myrr-It DOES get better after two years =P

Anth-Thank you for your sweet post. I really appreciate it. Thank you again

Soulsling-Hopefully next summer, after I graduate. I was thinking of going to Vegas and having a wedding and a lil Dopefest…who knows.

Yay for you! It does just keep getting better and better, in fact, it gets weirder and weirder, too - in a good way. No one ever told me that it would be this good – I had only heard about the disappointments and boredom in long-term relationships, and surely there are things that you miss out on because of your relationship, but you will experience emotions and whole planes of existence that are beyond explanation. Be sure to remember that in relationships, just like anything else in this universe, you get what you give.
