Well...it's no better, but it's not worse either

Well, I stated my original problem in this thread and since thing things haven’t gotten exactly better, but they are no worse than they were before.

The kitties have graduated to having one shut in the pantry (which now sports a cheapo woodframe screen door) while the other roams the house. Last night, we put Rumpleteazer in there and Buttercup virtually ignored her. Today I put Buttercup in there and while there was some initial interest on Rumple’s part (she went up and sniffed at the door a nd pawed at it a little bit),she has also ignored Buttercup.

I think this is a good sign that maybe within a few weeks, things will be back to normal.

But “normal” could be a little further than outerspace, sounds like.

Let’s hope everything returns to normal (whatever that means these days).

Glad to hear things are settling down a bit. Cats are odd creatures, and often defy all attempts to play nice with each other! My 10 year old Siamese detests our 1 year old Persian male, but I caught her snuggled up to him the other night sleeping, along with the 3 month old Siamese kitten. They’re all halfbreeds/strays…and I can let my 10 year old female Doberman in to play with them. Odd, but true.
Hang in there, the situation will improve!
