Well, the dog trainer gave up and gave me my money back.

That’s what I figured. We knew shelties bark a lot- but whoa, it’s a lot!

Thanks for the input- fortunately Daisy is pretty good at coming in from the yard when we call her, even when barking (except when the garbage truck is on the street behind us…). We just make sure to be paying attention when she’s out back, in case the barking starts.
Have to say, we didn’t mind the barking when a neighbood kid jumped our fence and started teasing our kids when they were with the sitter. Daisy barked him right back over the fence.

Good dog, Daisy, good dog.

And they’re just so cute!

Because he’s my sweetest puppy, duh. Honestly, he’s fine with me, it’s just strangers and the cat he can’t be around. He pees on the floor because he had a UTI last month and he got in the habit. I mean, if you suddenly realized you could just pee on the floor and it didn’t much matter to you, wouldn’t you?

I live in Columbia. The lady I spoke to at the vet’s office (not the vet) suggested Bark Busters, and we see how well that went. BARHAH!

(Doesn’t work with the boyfriend, either, FYI.)

The obedience club doesn’t offer one on one training, but maybe I could get a good reccomendation from them. We actually took him to puppy classes there, lo these many years ago, but we didn’t keep up with it and we weren’t consistent.
