Linky Ok yeah, it’s clever and all but…ew, icky first thing in the morning.
Heh. Yep, Slug never ceases to amaze me!
You have to admit, though, Slug managed to cram all the questions into one image. Drac screws a (presumed) zombie, Wolfie bites off Drac’s hand, then directs the gushing wound down Drac’s gullet so he won’t starve. Zombie-girl holds a chicken foot for the voodoo connection. Did he miss anything?
I was a bit worried about the possibility of censorship by prudish publishers, when I saw that.
Then I remembered that the Reader is a free alternative urban weekly. OK, no problem.
Occasionally, normal newspapers write to the READER asking to carry Cecil’s column (which is available, of course, for a fee.) The response (I was told) was to send a few sample columns and illustrations, such as http://www.straightdope.com/columns/050610.html or http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a1_065.html … and then they usually shy away.
I would pay Slug $20 to see a cartoon combining those two.
Now they can add a third drawing
How could the first question be answered without referencing “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein”?
