“What’s with clinton-he won’t stand behind his own appointees? What a man!”
Personally, I can’t stand Clinton, and I wouldn’t trust him as a commissioner of the sanitary commission, much less President.
But this is a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation. If he stands behind Justice’s actions in this case regardless of outcome, he’ll be pilloried as “our country, right or wrong,” another example of the Clintons ignoring the Constitution, etc… If he tries to cut the government’s losses and call a spade a spade (which is what he did) then he’s disloyal to his friends and allies. Give me a bloody break!
Can there be any doubt that there is a connection between this little drama and the Senate’s vote today to restore normal trade relations with the PRC? Nah, don’t think so. As in so many matters of state we’ll never really know the full story, but suffice it to say that Mr Lee was certainly used by General Comrade Secretary Clinton to further his goal of seeing MFN status bestowed on the PRC as a part of his presidential legacy!
Does anybody know if the “Freedom Of Information Act” can be used to get the details of the Govt’s. case against Mr. Lee?
I am really interested in researching this case, without having to rely on the media.
Again, this case is just SO bizarre…China doesn’t need to employ spies…they just have to give $50,000 to the DNC, and Clinton will let them have anything they want!
